Converse Slip On Range @ 18:13
I just had to share with you this genius idea from Converse, their slip on collection for kids!
I bought Lola this fluro yellow pair and they are just too cool for school! They have a piece of velcro inside the tongue so you can stop them from slipping off once they are on! I would say a two year old would be able to get them on and off all by themselves! Every mother's dream!
They come in these perfect colours and are $49.95 from Authentics.

Jess' Perfectly Pink 13th Birthday Party @ 11:19
My eldest daughter Kirra's bestest friend in the whole wide world celebrated her 13th birthday recently. Her clever mum, Donna threw her a perfectly pink slumber party to celebrate Jess' big day. The party table was a collection of all things pink, pretty + most importantly yummy!
Donna sourced many of the items including these delicate paper fans online, similar ones are available at Robert Gordon Australia starting at $8.95 for a set of 3. I just came on the big day to style the party table, entry + generally help out :)
The key to any successful party table is beautiful glassware, the essentials being cake stands, mini bottles, a drink dispenser, display domes + candy jars. These items create height + interest for the eye. For a fabulous selection of glassware visit The Little Big Company. Also ask friends + family if they have any of these items you can borrow, you will be surprised how much they will already have.
Cake stands are also a must to create height, I like to have 2 of similar heights at either end of the table as it frames it all really well. For a cheap alternative to ceramic or glass, the cardboard ones are a great option, as an added bonus they store flat! Domayne have a good selection for $14.95.
Flowers are always a nice touch for any pretty themed party.
As part of the printable party pack, Donna printed off these labels + put them on water bottles, she even found ones with pink lids!
Donna had a huge selection of lollies to fill all of the glassware. Before you look at buying expensive candy from party shops, visit your local supermarket and look for lollies that fit your theme. Marshmallows are my favourite cheap solution to filling large jars.
To stick to theme, Donna made a pink version of the rainbow layer cake, using a pink to create a stunning ombre effect.
Another food idea I loved was these little jelly shots with Persian fairy floss on top.
I kept in mind that Jess is an avid dancer when creating the entry, I also wanted to set a fun tone when her guests arrived, so I used my trusty light box with this cute saying, neon sign + some flowers. You could make a sign with cardboard letters if you don't have a light box.
I hope you have enjoyed yet a other beautiful birthday party! Feel free to email me if you need any inspiration or help with your special event.

Coming up Spades this Mother's Day with a little Kate Spade @ 16:45
Coming up Spades this Mother's Day with
Kate Spade
Just in the past month or so I have developed a slight obsession with all things Kate Spade. From playful bags to bold statement pieces, what mother wouldn't love to wake up to a little Kate Spade on Mother's Day. I have put together this colourful wish list to help you pick out something super stylish for your mum this Mother's Day! Oh + to put in your own orders of course :)
1. Kate Spade for Ked's $79 - I got mine from David Jones in the city (Sydney) + it's my guess only the main city stores stock them, so ring + check first. They come in the most stylish box also.
2. Colourful Coin Purses - On sale at the moment at Papier Damour for $40
Sending all you mothers out there some Kate Spade vibes for this Mother's Day, you definitely deserve some pretty things this year! Feel free to accidentally email this to your partner, trust me, it's easier if you just tell them want you want! Let's avoid kitchen or household appliances this year please kids!!
